Karim Wadhwani pursues photography with an interest in architecture, spirituality, and culture. He focuses on making contemplative photos – images that invite the viewer to slow down and reflect on the use of light, shadow, and symbolism.
Karim’s recent work includes the total lunar eclipse viewed from the Aga Khan Park, as well as documenting his sabbatical journey across the historic Silk Roads. On this trip, he engaged with artists and other locals, and explored architecture and urbanism in an Islamic context across settings with diverse histories and languages: including Kazakhstan, Qatar, Pakistan, and China.
